And the Academy Award goes to...My Daughter

My Girl! I'm so happy for my daughter this year. She's finishing up junior high and on the way to high school next year.....tears....She is consumed with the classics and her love for Ginger Rogers has led her to theatre class. My shy little baby has turned into a outgoing talented little Thespian. I couldn't be more proud watching her in plays and showing everyone just how talented she is. It's been a honor and I know she is going to continue and I will support her each step of the way. This past weekend she had her theatre banquet dinner and won an Academy Award for one of her parts in a performance last month. She was thrilled as was I. It was special! She looked beautiful in her vintage dress. Really growing up into an amazing human being. She is my star!

Happy Birthday Jimmy Stewart

One of my favorite actors ever Jimmy Stewart. I LOVED him! He was an amazing actor and great person. Today is his birthday. He would have been 102 years old. Hope your resting in peace in Hollywood Heaven Jimmy! Thanks for the memories that live on forever in time!

My favorite actress, my daughter

There is one proud Momma sitting here. My daughter performed her last school play A Midsummer Night's Dream last week. Over the weekend her theatre class competed against other schools and they won first place for their play! Also, my daughter received a medal award for her performance. I was SOOO happy for her! She has so much courage and is so talented. After watching two of her favorite actress's Ginger Rogers and Audrey Hepburn she realized she wanted to be an actress and this is only the beginning of many great things to come. She is my pride and joy. She is my #1 favorite actress.

Happy Birthday Audrey Hepburn

(May 4, 1929 - January 20, 1993)

She was eleghant, sophisicated, shy, beautiful, kind and flawless.She was Audrey Hepburn. Today is her birthday and she would have been 81 years old. Audrey is my favorite actress. I thought she was simply perfect in every way. My favorite movie is Breakfast at Tiffany's although she made so many others that were wonderful. She was a true lady and someone my daughter looks up to as do I. Audrey Hepburn was truly an amazing soul. She was taken from us far too soon, but I am so happy we can still watch her movies for many years to come. Rest in peace Audrey. You are truly a sweet angel in heaven.
