Water For Elephants

It's finally here! I've been waiting for months to see Water for Elephants and it opens today. I'm a huge Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon fan! I'm in love with this story, and the book was just fantastic. Very exciting. I can't wait to watch it this weekend. Anyone else planning on seeing it?

    I don't know much about the story but visually it looks very impressive. Haven't read too many reviews yet.

    Thanks for the info, SCD!!! This should be a pretty good movie...
    Of course, being the Gingerologist that I am, what I am seeing is that Reese could be a pretty fair candidate for playing Ginger, if a movie will ever be done about her...I think the 'Astaire Estate' has prohibited any movies to have Fred depicted in them, so a Ginger movie would be pretty tough w/o that...

    Yes! That would be perfect. She could play Ginger easily! She is funny and has the personality just like her as well. That should happen someday! Would love to see a movie about Ginger! Hey do you know where I can find a copy of Vivacious Lady anywhere? They don't have it on DVD and I don't have the VHS. Would love to get it for my little Ginger fan:-)

    It's not currently on DVD - BUT, I have a sneaking suspicion that Warner Archive may well release some more GingerFilms in their 'archive' series...with that one being the 'top' of the list...but there are 4-5 more that they should have from WB or RKO which they need to release...'In Person' and 'Star of Midnight' are two which come to mind off the bat...

    ...no problem, SCD!!! again, just send info, and I should be able to get it out to y'all in a day or two...will probably be 'U.S. Mail', if that's ok... and while we're at it, if there are any OTHER GingerFilms needed, I should be able to handle pretty much any of them, except the 'elusive' Hat Check Girl'... well, there are a few others I have on VHS tape, but cannot 'convert' to DVD, unfortunately... but VERY few :-)
