Happy 6th Birthday to my sweet boys. Momma Loves You

It's hard to believe that my sweet little boys are 6 years old today. It was a surprise when I found out I was having twins. It was not an easy pregnancy and I am so blessed to have these little miracles. They are my favorite boys in the whole wide world. They are growing up so fast, and it's been wonderful to see just what smart and funny little monkeys they have become. They keep this Momma on her toes that is for sure, but I wouldn't change it for the world. They are so incredibly special to me and I hope they have a wonderful and fun day. Many more blessed birthdays to come precious babies. I am here for you always. Momma Loves you! Happy Birthday! xoxo

We Remember: Space Shuttle Challenger, 25 years later

ShabbyChic Diva's Vintage Pink Corner remembers 25 years later the crew of Space Shuttle Challenger, Dick Scobee, Michael J Smith, Ellison Onizuka, Ronald E Mcnair, Christa McAuliffe, Judith Resnik and Gregory Jarvis.
On this tragic day January 28, 1986 I was in the sixth grade.I remember my Mom was driving me to school after a doctors appointment when we heard it on the radio. It was scary and very sad. God Bless them all.

Happy 15th Birthday to my princess, Momma Loves You

I can't believe today is my daughter's 15th birthday. Where does time go? They grow up so fast. It feels like just yesterday that I held her in my arms for the first time. She was so tiny and had the most beautiful blue eyes that you could imagine.
She's such a pretty girl, an artist, an actress. She loves classic movies like me and her idols are Ginger Rogers and Audrey Hepburn. How lucky am I!
She's smart and has such a good head on her shoulders. She's a really good girl and I'm so proud of her. She is my girl, my only girl and I love her so much.
Happy Birthday princess. I wish you a blessed day and many more to come. I wish you happiness and health for years to come and success in everything you do. You mean the world to me and I'm so lucky to have you as my daughter! Much Love always, Your Momma:-)

TV Tuesday: Everybody Loves Raymond

Everybody Loves Raymond, a hilarious and witty sitcom featuring Ray Romano who plays Raymond Barone, an easy going newspaper sportswriter who can never take anything seriously, and uses jokes to avoid any sense of responsibility for the problems that arise between his family members often to the annnoyance of his wife Deborah who is a busy stay at home Mom to one young daughter and twin boys.

Ray often gets himself in the middle of chaos and drama involving his other family members. He seems incapable of taking any sort of stand, especially if there is the chance that it will bring down the wrath of his overbearing and nosey mother Marie played by Doris Roberts. His insecure and jealous brother Robert and him are always going back and forth with insults because of Ray being the "favorite" son, as well as Ray's success in both his professional and family life.

My favorite character is Frank played by Peter Boyle. He plays the smart mouthed funny Father of Ray who is constantly making insulting and sarcastic remarks to everyone he comes into contact with including his wife Marie on a daily basis.

This show has got to be one of my favorites. It makes me laugh every time that I watch it. Besides the smiles it brings to my face I can really relate to it. Ray reminds me a lot of my husband. Deborah of myself. His Mother reminds me of my Mother in law and I also have one girl and twin boys. I think that is what makes it even more enjoyable to me.

Winner of many Emmy awards and well worth it. If you have not ever seen an episode and you love comedy, this would be a great show to watch. I think many people will relate to a lot of the situations this crazy family seems to get themselves into on a constant basis.

Matinee Monday: Marilyn Monroe

June 1, 1926 – August 5, 1962

She was funny, beautiful and talented. A true legend. Nicknamed the "Blonde Bombshell", Marilyn Monroe starred in some of my favorite movies like Niagra, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Prince and the Showgirl, Some Like it Hot, Monkey Business, Don't Bother to Knock and The Seven Year Itch. Although she didn't have an easy life and seemed very sad on the inside, she always shined on the outside. Marilyn had a true fighting spirit, and she was taken away from us way too soon. I wish things could have been happier for her, but I hope she was able to feel a little love along her journey in life. She was more then just a sex symbol, and was worth so much more then people ever gave her credit for. There has never been another like her, and she is a bright star in the heavens. Today I salute the wonderful and flawless Marilyn Monroe on Matinee Monday.
