Happy 5th birthday to my little monkeys

They are my rowdy adorable little monkeys and they are 5 years old today. Happy Birthday my sweet tarts! I can't believe how fast my boys are growing up. It seems like just yesterday when I found out I was pregnant, and with twins which was a huge surprise. There were a few times I actually thought I was going to loose them, but everything turned out ok. They were meant to be.My boys were healthy and happy from the moment they came into this world. And they make me smile and laugh each and every day. Two very little different personalities. One with brown eyes and one with blue. One outgoing and one shy. So many differences yet I wouldn't have it any other way.
It's amazing this little language they had when they were smaller. We never knew what they were saying but they did. They would always communicate in their own little way.And although they have their moments, it's obvious they love each other so much and are always hanging out together playing and talking.I love in the mornings when they come into my room and say Good Morning Momma. They give me lots of kisses and hugs and tell me just how much they love me.And even when they drive me crazy some days, I can't imagine my world without themSo many great memories already and we are only getting started:-)They are about to start school soon and it's going to be such a hard day for Momma. But knowing they have each other makes me feel a little more at ease.I hope they will have so much fun today at their birthday party with all their little friends. I know I spoiled them and it may just feel like Christmas did. But they deserve it.

When one is sick the other will take care of them. When one gets something the other makes sure his brother receives it as well. And when one is scared at night, the other takes his hand and lets him "borrow" his pillow:-)

I know they will stay close always even when they grow up. I know they will depend on each other and will be there for each other always. I believe this whole heartedly.I just adore all my sweet babies. They are my whole world and I wish them the happiest of birthdays now and forever. Remember, Momma loves you.

Pink Saturday

Hello to all my fabulous friends today. Happy Pink Saturday!

I want to thank Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/ for hosting this day.

Here we have one of my favorite pink pillows that sits on my favorite chair upstairs. I love the colors and it makes me so happy. You can never have too many pretty pillows can you?Next we have my Raspberry Tart Porcelain Doll. She's part of the Strawberry Shortcake collection. When I was a little girl I was obsessed with SSC. I still have a lot of my vintage stuff, but around 2004 she was back. Danbury Mint released all the main characters in these dolls a few years ago. Isn't she pretty? And she comes with her pet monkey Rhubarb. One day I was searching on Ebay and came across this neat vintage pink dish holder. I just had to buy it. Got it for 10 dollars. I think it was a great find!My last item is one of my latest finds. A beautiful rose pink wreath shaped like a heart. I am getting ready to hang it in my bedroom. I can't wait.I hope you enjoyed my pinks today. I look forward to seeing all yours!! Have a great weekend!

The Ginger Rogers Cake, Simply Fabulous!

As I posted earlier, it's my daughter's birthday today. She is a major Ginger Rogers fan. I wanted to do something nice for her so I had someone make her a Ginger cake. I am happy to report it turned out great! It was simply beautiful. It was so perfect we just didn't want to cut into it, but of course we had to. It really made my daughters day. She was so happy with all her gifts, new hair cut and of course her all time favorite cake. Simply Fabulous!

Happy Birthday Sweet Princess

My Sweet Princess. It's hard to believe that you are 14 years old today. It feels like just yesterday you were born and looking up at me with those big beautiful blue eyes. This is my girl! My only girl. She was special from the beginning. I knew her name the moment I found out I was pregnant and my life changed for the better the day she came into this world. I never knew what true love was till I held my little girl in my arms for the first time. Telling her that first day I would be the best Mom I could possibly be and love her forever and ever. She was so much fun and very loving always. She was happy from the very beginning. Always had a smile on her face. She loved to sing, dance, draw and The Wizard of OzEven though she stayed home with me when she started her first day of school she never looked back. It was worse for me, but you stayed so strong. You have really grown through the years and have turned into such a beautiful young lady. You draw like no one I have ever seen before. So talented. You get straight A's in school. You have dreams of being an actress someday. Your idols are Ginger Rogers and Audrey Hepburn. You love classic Hollywood and Classic movies just like your Momma. And even though the little monkeys annoy you at timesyou always remain a wonderful big sister that they look up to and love so muchI have no doubts that you will be somebody big someday and all your dreams will come true. My sweet little classy 40's girlI want you to know that your Momma will always love you so much. Even in the beginning of your teen years we still remain close. We have so many laughs and common interests and for that I am truly blessed. I want you to know I will be here for you anytime in your life and I will support you in everything you do. I hope your day is special and fun. God Bless you. I pray he will keep you safe and happy always. Happy Birthday!!!
