I can't wait to receive them both!Next is a new quilt I found a few days ago. I adore the colors and can't wait to put in on my bedAnd here are some goodies I picked up at Charming Charlie..LOVE that place!

An acrylic painting my daughter did for Mother's Day of a beautiful pink flower. It's in my bedroom and is MY FAVORITE pink belonging! I will treasure it forever!Hope you enjoyed. Reading your little bio. on Beverly's blog, I was so excited. Another classic movie lover!! Another lover of the 40's!! I describe myself as a classic movie addict...and if I could live in any other era, without question, it would be the 1940's.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, I pretty much always wear skirts and dresses, and I love the two you found. They are beautiful, especially that pink one!! What a lovely addition to your summer wardrobe.
The quilt is gorgeous too...and that painting your daughter did, wow!! Beautiful. She has a talent with painting.
Also, I read your vacation post. Loved the photos. Sounds like a lovely time. I had to tell you, back in May 2005, I had my first kidney stone. Like you, I was not at home. We were camping for the weekend, and I woke up Saturday morning with pain worse than childbirth. I actually thought it was my appendix, so my husband took me to an ER in a little town near the campground. They did a sonogram and told me it was kidney stones...that I was trying to pass one, but there were a few more down in the kidney that would probably try to pass in the future. It took about a week to pass the one, and then I was fine...up until last December, when the others decided it was time to pass. I can relate to your pain. Worse than childbirth, really, because at least with childbirth, you go through horrible pain and end up with a baby...not so with a kidney stone, huh?
Anyhow, sorry for the rambling comment.
Blessings,
Patti
