I remember nine years ago like it was just yesterday. I remember the shock, sadness and anger. On September 11, 2001 our Country was attacked and many innocent lives were lost. I remember them all on this anniversary of that tragic day. I honor them and I will continue to every day I'm alive. I want to thank our troops around the world who risk their lives each and every day to keep us safe. I also want to say thank you to all the law enforcement out there who work hard to keep our country safe. God Bless you and God Bless America.

My husband woke me up at about 10pm that night as he had been watching the late night news. At first we thought it was a hoax of some kind as it seemed inconceivable that something like that could really happen.
ReplyDeleteI too have been thinking of all of the families and friends who lost loved ones that day.

ReplyDeleteLike you, and everyone else, I remember where I was and what I was doing when I first heard the news. And like everyone else, I shared the same horror, anger and disbelief.
ReplyDeleteWhen i saw the news, i couldnt believe what i was seeing. My boss came screaming from his office saying "one of the twin towers was hit!!!" then a not long afte that he came again"the other on and the pentagon!" i was horrified and in shock. i was speechless. I will never forget that day...
