Summertime, can you hear me?

I can remember just how much I loved summer when I was little. I would go outside and stay out till the sun went down. I had so much fun and I didn't have a care in the world.Now that I'm grown and my summer activities have changed, I still look forward to spending time with my family at the beach. Watching them play and laugh so innocently. Feeling at peace when hearing the waves crash and feeling the sand between my toes.I will enjoy seeing the pretty sunflowers that have bloomedAnd indulging in my favorite beverage, sweet tea.Throwing on a chic little pink summer dressAnd cute flipflops. What's better then that?Well I guess June 30th comes close:-) Exciting! I can feel it coming..and soon I will be sitting on the beaches of South Padre Island leaving behind all the worries and cares just like I did when I was young. It can't arrive fast enough. Summer, can you hear me? HURRY!

Happy Birthday Jayne Mansfield

Today I celebrate the birthday of the gorgeous Jayne Mansfield. She would have been 77 years old.

They smile at me everyday when I wake up and they are one of my favorite pieces.Next is one of my favorite pink vasesHere are some sweet flower pictures I actually found at a garage sale about a year ago. I only paid 50 cents for them and still think I got a great deal. I just adore themAnd here is a pretty pink vintage powder box. One of my favorites as wellI hope everyone enjoyed my pink. It's Friday Darlings

Happy Happy Friday..I'm SOOO ready for the weekend. I've been busy doing some Spring cleaning around the house, taking care of my little monkeys and the princess. Speaking of my princess next week she will star in her first school play. I can't wait! Her idol is Ginger Rogers and she wants to be just like her. I bet it's going to feel so special seeing her up on stage doing her thing. Today my husband will be taking a half day off work and we will go and get some new shoes for the boys. They seem to go through them so quickly because of their active little bodies. So now I am grabbing my sunglasses and heading out to enjoy the pretty weather outside. Happy Easter Darlins. I had a really great day with my family. My kids are my life and there is nothing better then spending such a wonderful holiday with my whole world. Although it's hard being away from my family in California. I miss my Mom and brother so much and I think of other loved ones who are now gone like my Father and Grandma. I remember all the delightful Easter's of the past where we all got together. And even though it's hard leaving that behind, it's nice to make new memories with my little sweet tarts.
