Hello. My name is Winona. This is my first Pink Saturday and I wanted to introduce myself.
I also want to thank Beverly at
http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/ for allowing me to join this fun event. I hope you enjoy my blog and I look forward to going and reading all of yours and seeing your beautiful pages and pictures.
Above is a picture of one of my favorite pieces. It's a vintage pink tea set my husband bought me last Mother's Day. I think it's so pretty. The pictures don't do it justice. I found it at a local antique store and just had to have it. My husband knew this and surprised me. Also pictured, you can see two of my favorite pink plates. All of these sit on my fire place. Sometimes when I'm watching tv I glance up there and admire their beauty. The last picture is of my pink cherub rose statue my Mom gave me. I love this piece cause I think it's so pretty and I collect angels. Also, since I live long distance from my Mom, I treasure everything she gives me. We are very close and I miss her very much. This piece sits up on my blue glass cabinet next to my twin boys picture. I always like to think the Angels are protecting my children. They just seem so peaceful and pretty. Pink and angels make me extremely happy. Hope you enjoy and again nice to meet you all. Have a wonderful Saturday!!!
