I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I would like to know. Who inspires you?

There are many women who have inspired me to be who I am today. It started being raised by a wonderful Grandma and Mom. They taught me how to love, to always be independent and how to be a Mother. There wisdom has taught me how to appreciate the good and pursvere through the bad. But there have also been others. I thought I would share some with you. Included are my favorite quotes by these fabulous women. I would like to know, who inspires you?
The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature. As long as this exists, and it certainly always will, I know that then there will always be comfort for every sorrow, whatever the circumstances may be. And I firmly believe that nature brings solace in all troubles; Anne Frank
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved; Helen Keller“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone; Audrey HepburnBeing unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat; Mother TeresaThere will be little rubs and disappointments everywhere, and we are all apt to expect too much; but then, if one scheme of happiness fails, human nature turns to another; if the first calculation is wrong, we make a second better: we find comfort somewhere; Jane AustenI have been through a lot and have suffered a great deal. But I have had lots of happy moments, as well. Every moment one lives is different from the other. The good, the bad, hardship, the joy, the tragedy, love, and happiness are all interwoven into one single, indescribable whole that is called life. You cannot separate the good from the bad. And perhaps there is no need to do so, either;Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

  3. Great quotes! I don't have any one person who inspires me, I draw inspiration from many different sources and characters. We all have so much to learn from one another, but I've learned it's not enough to merely listen...one has to actually apply that knowledge to their own life.

  12. this is a great blog! Found it through Texas Blogging Gals, btw.

Jane Austen has inspired me for a number of years - but I hadn't read the quote you listed from her. Am adding that to one of my new fave quote list.

Also, screenplay writer Nora Ephron inspires me as a current day writer.
