Twilight, where have you been?

Ok, so I think I'm the only one on the planet that had never seen the vampire thriller Twilight and I never really understood all the hype. but now that I watched it over the weekend I must say I have become a fan.

Although the acting was not great nor was the story line, there is just something about it that hooked me. I enjoyed my self tremendously and of course it doesn't hurt to look at a certain eye candy named Edward. Besides his looks, something about him intrigued me. He is very sexy and the mystery of him and the question can he control himself around the girl he loves kept me very interested. It has mystery and seductiveness without all the vulgar sex, blood and gore. The characters are unique all in their own way and the music and scenery is truly beautiful.

I am looking forward to finally catching up with everyone else and seeing the second movie when it comes out later this month on DVD. Then come summer time I hope I can make it to the theatre to see the third installment. Twilight... where have you been all my life I wonder, but now that I know about you, I can't wait for more.

  5. Read the books. If you like the movie (I didn't first time I saw it) you will REALLY like the books. QUICK reads I promise. New Moon is my favorite book and the movie is MUCH better. Although different. I hear the new one will have 3D! Enjoy!

  6. Welcome to the Edward & Bella world!!!
I have 10 & 12 year old girls...so I had no choice :) I've even taken my 12 year old to the midnight shows of the movies which are great and so worth it. The fans are the best at the midnight showings. The next movie comes out in the summer so I'll be able to take both girls.

    YEAH :)

  9. I still haven't watched the movie or read any of the books. My daughter watched Twighlight when it first came out but she said she didn't get it & she did not get the Twightlight bug that everyone & their mamma did. Just the whole hoopla of it all makes me not want to even give it the chance...(the same way I feel about facebook) but perhaps I will change my mind some day down the road. You made it sound appealing. ;)
