Happy Birthday Carole Lombard

(October 6, 1908 – January 16, 1942)

She was young, beautiful, smart, sassy and funny. She was Carole Lombard. I loved and adored this wonderful soul and I'm so thankful that even though she was taken from us way too soon, we still have her legacy in the movies she left behind. I often wonder what else she would have accomplished, and our world was a little less bright without her in it. Happy Birthday to one of my favorite leading ladies. Happy Birthday to the "Profane Angel".

    She was one of my Mom's favorite actresses! I love her old movies and soon grew to understand why my Mom liked her so well. Such a talent!

    I LOVED her!! She was so beautiful and talented!! It's a shame she passed away so young. I would have loved to see what she could have done later in life!!! One of the best!!!! P.S. TCM is having a bunch of her movies today!!!
